How to Play Hexa Puzzle
Hexa Puzzle is a modern twist on the classic block puzzle. Instead of square grids, you place blocks on a board made of hexagons, which means lines can be cleared in three different directions!
Basic Rules
- The Board: The game is played on a honeycomb-like hexagonal grid.
- Placing Blocks: You are given three random block shapes at a time. Drag and drop them onto the empty spaces on the board.
- Clearing Lines: To score points, you must fill an entire straight line of hexagons from one edge of the board to another.
- Game Over: The game ends when you can no longer fit any of the given shapes onto the board.
Pro Strategies
- Focus on Edges First: Hexagonal boards are widest in the middle. It's often safer to build along the edges first to leave maximum space in the center for awkward shapes.
- Three-Way Clearing: Unlike Tetris which only clears horizontally, Hexa can clear lines horizontally and diagonally in two directions (/). Keep your eyes peeled for multiple clearing opportunities.
- Save the 1-Block: If you get a tiny 1-block hex, don't waste it! Save it for when you absolutely need to plug a specific hole to complete a massive combo.
